Wisconsin men’s hockey coach Tony Granato says his Badgers squads haven’t had finishers in the past. This year, the young talent has that quality – in spades. Wisconsin is getting national attention for scoring 11 goals in a Saturday win at Merrimack. Freshman wing Cole Caulfield scored twice in each of his first two collegiate games. The problem for Granato is teaching his team how to stop the other guys. While splitting the weekend’s games, U-W surrendered 10 goals, five to Boston College and five more to Merrimack.
