The defense which has stacked up four shutouts in six games is getting a lot of attention, but Wisconsin football coach Paul Chryst is showing trust in his offense in a subtle way. The Badgers have kept Jack Coan and the offense on the field for a fourth-down play eight times this season. They’ve made the distance needed each time. Coan and running back Jonathan Taylor have been the ones to move the markers on seven of those fourth-down attempts. Coan did it twice with clutch passes in the 38-0 win over Michigan State.
