The details of what the Brown County Sheriff’s Office termed an “active situation” are remaining scarce. What we do know is that Saturday afternoon, a vehicle crashed near the intersection of County Highway R and Wisconsin Avenue, and officials asked the public to stay away from the area. Reports indicate that the driver was taken into police custody, before receiving treatment for the injures they sustained. The name, age, and gender of the individual involved was not released, nor was the charges they are facing. The Brown County Sheriff’s Department did tweet out that the public was not in any danger.
