One person is dead following an armed robbery at a bar in Neenah early this morning. Reports indicate that the incident was reported to police shortly after midnight this morning. Officers arrived at the Short Branch Saloon, to find a shooting victim, but no suspect. First Responders tended to the victim, but were unsuccessful in their life-saving efforts.
Witnesses told officers that an armed robber had entered the bar, took an undisclosed amount of cash, and shot the now deceased customer, before heading south on Harrison Street in a dark colored four door car with silver hub caps.
The suspect is armed and dangerous, and if anyone has any information, they should contact the Neenah Police Department at 920-886-6000.
