Firefighters Investigating “Electrical Problem” Realize Duplex Is Burning

Milwaukee firefighters investigating the report of an “electrical problem” realized the upstairs unit of the duplex was on fire Saturday morning.  Two people died.  Police identify the victims as 60-year-old Clarence Murrell Junior and 53-year-old Patricia Colston.  Neighbors say Colston had just moved into the upper flat of the duplex in the last two weeks.  Firefighters found the pair unresponsive and brought them outside where paramedics tried to save their lives — but they died before they could be taken to a hospital.
