Appleton Woman Arrested for Repeated Sexual Assault of Child

Police say an Appleton woman is under arrest for the repeated sexual assault of a child.  Twenty-year-old Dessiree Allen was jailed in Outagamie County after investigators received an anonymous tip.  Officers worked with child protection services and determined a juvenile and adult had an ongoing sexual relationship.  The alleged victim had been staying at Allen’s home and the assault was frequently occurring.  The child was placed in protective custody.  The age and gender of the child were not released.
