Milwaukee police say an extensive search was made at a property Tuesday morning after they were told human remains were buried there. The yard was excavated after the execution of a search warrant at about 9:00 A-M. M-P-D officers were joined by agents with the Wisconsin Department of Justice. Witnesses say tools like a pickax and metal detector were brought in, but all searchers found were the remains of a dog. Two people were taken into custody at the location before the search, but their names haven’t been released.
