A driver whose S-U-V burned after a weekend accident faces charges of operating while intoxicated, second offense. Police responding to a report of a burning vehicle found 49-year-old Frank B. Davis walking nearby. He had lost control on Madison’s east side Saturday at about 2:15 A-M and hit a utility pole. Witnesses say he walked away from the scene while his vehicle was engulfed in flames.
