Felician Village at Home is a new membership program designed to support the health and well-being of older adults. The program is open to Manitowoc County residents living in their own homes or apartments. Through involvement, interactions and learning, Felician Village at Home offerings will help to lessen social isolation and loneliness amongst older adults in our community. Membership will offer access to vetted service providers, discounts, educational and social events, volunteer services, a daily check-in program and much more. Felician Village at Home will not provide medical services as part of this program.
Megan Bruckschen, Manager of Felician Village at Home, says that this membership program is a new concept in Manitowoc County. “Based on the research we have done the past two years, we know some people want to continue living in their own home as they age. It is our hope that this new program helps them live there safely and provides a fun, meaningful purpose for our members”.
