Milwaukee Bucks point guard Donte DiVincenzo is hoping for a break-out season after missing most of his rookie campaign due to a foot injury. The Bucks just wrapped up three days of training camp at UW-Madison and will host a free scrimmage Sunday at Fiserv Forum. DiVincenzo stayed in Milwaukee after the Eastern Conference Finals and didn’t want to stray from his regimen or care of the Bucks’ medical staff. He felt well enough to play in the July summer league but the team didn’t want to risk it and he kept working out on his own. DiVincenzo is fully recovered now and going full speed. Coach Mike Budenholzer said Donte’s had a really great summer and he’s “just really happy with how he’s playing but most importantly that he’s healthy.” DiVincezno averaged about five points and two-and-a-half rebounds in 27 games in his rookie season.
