The playoff-bound Brewers head into the postseason on a three-game losing streak. They lost Sunday’s regular-season finale 4-3 in 13 innings to the Rockies in Denver. A Jake Faria wild pitch brought in the winning run. The Brewer offense was rather scarce, as only Tyrone Taylor was able to earn multiple hits. Adrian Hauser did have a good start on the mound, going 5 innings, striking out 5, only walking one, and allowing one hit. The lack of wins in the final series solidified the Brewers position as the second Wildcard. They will take the day off today, and will face the Washington Nationals tomorrow in Washington.
