Blood Donations Needed, Local Opportunities To Give

The American Red Cross of Wisconsin and Iowa need donors of all blood types to meet the needs of an increasingly diverse patient population. The vast majority of blood types fall into one of the major blood groups, however, for patients with rare blood types or those who receive regular transfusions, blood must be matched closely. Upcoming donation opportunities in the lakeshore area include: October 2nd at Two Rivers High School between 9 am and 2 pm. Monday, October 10 at the Manitowoc Senior Center from 9 am to 2 pm. Monday, October 14th, 2-6 pm at Grace Lutheran Church 2426 North Rapids Road.
