The Manitowoc Police Department announced this morning that a suspect has been arrested in connection to the Popp’s Harbor Town Citgo Robbery on Saturday. According to Manitowoc Police Captain David Vorphal, officers with the Milwaukee Police Department executed a search warrant on a home in the 3800 block of North 54th Street, the home of 25-year-old Damone D. Ezell. He was taken into custody without incident, and officers found several items in the home that connected Ezell to the robbery. Ezell was transported to the Manitowoc County Jail on charges of Robbery By Use or Threat of Use of a Dangerous Weapon, and Misdemeanor Bail Jumping. Ezell has a bail hearing at 12:45 this afternoon.
