The Green Bay Packers are now three-and-one following a 34-27 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football at Lambeau Field.
Aaron Rodgers passed for 422 yards and two touchdowns – but threw an interception in the end zone with 28 seconds remaining in the game. Jimmy Graham and Geronimo Allison had touchdown receptions and Aaron Jones scored on the ground.
Green Bay’s offense failed to punch it in on two possessions inside the five-yard line. Philadelphia’s Carson Wentz had 160 yards passing and a pair of T-Ds as the Eagles improved to two-and-two. The Packers defense did not force a turnover for the first time this season and had only allowed a total of 35 points through the first three games.
Running back Jamaal Williams had to be carted off the field in the first quarter after a helmet-to-helmet hit. Packers’ right tackle Bryan Bulaga suffered a shoulder injury and wide receiver Davante Adams left the game late with a toe injury after catching ten balls for 180 yards. Up next for the Pack will be a road game against the currently 3-0 Dallas Cowboys.
