Five Green Bay residents escaped serious injury Sunday morning in Manitowoc County when their vehicle went out of control on a wet roadway and rolled over. The accident report shows that an SUV driven by 39-year old Karina Sanchez-Aranda was traveling northbound in heavy rain along I-43 in the Town of Kossuth about 8am when it began to hydroplane. The vehicle then entered the median rolled, and came to rest on the passenger side. Sanchez-Aranda and her 4-passengers were all transported to St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay after complaining of head, neck and back pain. Two children, ages 2 and 6, were riding in the SUV and all occupants had proper child or safety restraints at the time of the crash.
