The special election to replace Wisconsin Congressman Sean Duffy will be held January 27th. Governor Tony Evers made that announcement Monday — the day Duffy’s resignation became official. Duffy is a 47-year-old Republican who has held the office since 2011. He said he needs to step aside to help his wife with a daughter to be born next month with a serious heart condition. State Senator Tom Tiffany has been the first person to announce he’s running for Duffy’s seat in Congress.
