A procession will escort the body of veteran Milwaukee Police Officer Mark Lentz from the medical examiner’s office to a funeral home later today (Friday). Two years after he was deliberately hit by the driver of an S-U-V, Lentz died Wednesday. Police say the former motorcycle officer began to show signs of traumatic brain injury after his injury, losing the ability to speak and suffering memory loss. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of his death.
