Packers Defenders Making It Hard On QBs

The Green Bay Packers defense pressured Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins 28 times in last week’s 21-16 win.  The newest Packers are leading a defense which is leading the N-F-L with 44 pressures so far.  Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith have combined for 25.  Add defensive tackle standout Kenny Clark to the aggressive approach and Mike Pettine’s defenders are operating at the top of the league.  When you consider that Pettine’s defense often has just four or fewer rushing the quarterback, the efficiency bodes well for the future.
