Brown County Mental Health Court Judge Donald Zuidmulder and Brown County Treatment and Diversion Program/Criminal Justice Coordinating Council Supervisor Mark Vanden Hoogen will be speaking at Manitowoc City Hall Oct. 3rd at 7pm. The duo will be discussing how mental health courts benefit all, by reducing police contacts, jail costs and recidivism among participants. They will share suggestions on how to start a mental health court here. The meeting which is free and open to the public , is sponsored by RUTH an interfaith justice group, NAMI( National Alliance On Mental Illness), and the League Of Women Voters of Manitowoc County. Light refreshments will be served.
