It was a slow offensive night for the Brewers, as tey fell in game three of their 4 game set with the Padres 2-1. Milwaukee was held to three hits and Keston Hiura’s 17th home run accounted for the only scoring. Adrian Houser took the loss. Danielson Lamet stopped Brewer batters on three hits in six innings, striking out 14. The Brewers are now three games behind St. Louis but they’re still tied with the Chicago Cubs for the final National League wild-card spot. Jordan Lyles goes for his 12th victory when he starts this afternoon’s game at Miller Park.
