An accident between a school bus and a pickup has sent two people in the truck to a nearby hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The accident happened Tuesday afternoon in Lowville. Columbia County Sheriff’s deputies cited the school bus driver for failure to yield the right-of-way. The pickup hit the front bumper of the bus while the bigger vehicle was making a turn. Two students on the bus weren’t hurt.
