The Winnebago County District Attorney’s office has cleared a Neenah police officer for using deadly force last June. The D-A says Officer Christopher Gorden was justified in his actions. Witnesses say 43-year-old Shawn Blowers of Menasha lunged at officers when Gorden shot him. Blowers was being taken into custody as part of a child sex crimes investigation. Doctors weren’t able to save his life after he was taken to a nearby hospital.
