We have an update today about the ongoing reconstruction work on Waldo Boulevard from North 14th Street to Maritime Drive in Manitowoc. According to the Wisconsin D-O-T-Northeast Region Office in Green Bay, work crews will continue to pour concrete sidewalk & driveways on the northside of Waldo west of 8th Street. Concrete pavement will be placed at intersections along the boulevard while crews continue restoration east of North 8th and preparation begins for laying pavement on the southside of Waldo. Northbound & southbound traffic is maintained along Maritime Drive and Memorial Drive during the $13.5 million dollar project. Construction began on the approximately 1.2 mile stretch of roadway in April and is scheduled to conclude in November.
