After several months of work, a special city steering committee has decided it wants to build a new sports complex at the Janesville Mall. The former J-C Penny building would be torn down to make way for a 33-million dollar complex with turf fields, sports courts and hockey rinks. A public forum is set for Wednesday at 6:00 P-M at Janesville City Hall to talk about the idea. The mall is charging just one-dollar for the vacant space.
