Games between the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and Wisconsin Badgers football teams have been mutually canceled for the 2022 and 2024 season. The original agreement was for the teams to play three times and the Badgers won the first meeting in 2015 by a 28-0 score. Wisconsin will replace Hawaii with New Mexico State in 2022 and Western Michigan in 2024, both home games. U-W met Western Michigan in the 2017 Cotton Bowl in Dallas, winning the post-season game 24-16.
