A big “Blade Bash” fundraising event is coming up Saturday night at the Manitowoc County Ice Center. Brian Ver Helst, President of the County Youth Hockey Association, said Blade
Bash..runs from 6-until-11pm and, is their main fundraiser of the year.
Ver Helst said its’ an age 18 and older event.
He added, youth hockey participation numbers ‘are’ going up.
Ver Helst says their featured band is ‘Oil Can Harry’…with food and refreshments offered, along with a $10-thousand dollar raffle-prize. There are a few raffle tickets still available for purchase at $100.00 apiece for the big drawing.
