Bustamante, Cortez
An 18-year-old Two Rivers man charged with attempted first-degree homicide has been bound over for trial. Cortez N. Bustamante is also charged with robbery, bail jumping and obstructing. Police were called to a residence the afternoon of July 23rd where it was discovered that he had allegedly stabbed a 19-year-old Manitowoc man resulting in life-threatening injuries for which he has since recovered. Bustamante remains in the County Jail on a $250,000 cash bond with conditions upon release to include having “no contact” with the victim or any witnesses in the complaint and possess no weapon of any kind. His arraignment hearing is scheduled for September 17TH at 10 a.m.
