Bustamante Cortez
An 18-year-old Two Rivers man charged with attempted first-degree homicide is scheduled to appear today for a Preliminary Hearing in Manitowoc County Circuit Court. Cortez Bustamante is accused of stabbing a 19-year-old Manitowoc man on July 23rd, resulting in life-threatening wounds to the victim. Bustamante is also charged with robbery, obstructing and bail jumping. His court appearance to determine if there’s enough evidence for him to be bound over for trial is scheduled for 1:00 o’clock, in front of Judge Jerilyn Dietz.
