A Candlelight Vigil at Lakeshore United Methodist church at 6:30pm on Monday, Oct. 7th will kick off the National Alliance On Mental Illness’s Mental Illness Awareness Week. Dr. Kohler of Holy Family Memorial Behavioral Health will speak about anxiety, panic attacks and obsessive compulsive disorder. A Touch Of Harmony will provide music, and there will be a book display of mental health related issues at the Manitowoc Public library and the Lester Public Library in Two Rivers all week, along with Mayor Nickel’s Proclamation about Mental Illness Awareness Week.
