A string of home burglaries has many people on edge in Sheboygan. As of now, the Sheboygan Police say there isn’t any evidence that the three burglaries over the past several days are linked, but they do share some common elements. Those elements include the fact that people were home at the time of the robbery, their door was unlocked, and the thief only took things that were within a few steps of the doorway. Some of the stolen property has been recovered and returned to its rightful owner, but no arrests have been made. Investigators are advising people to ensure their doors are locked, even if they are home, and to make sure your valuable items are in a secure location.
