The Brown County’s Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in helping identify two suspects in connection to an Identity Theft/Check Fraud Investigation. Authorities learned that a number of counterfeit checks had been passed at numerous businesses last month throughout Brown County and the Milwaukee-Kenosha area. An investigation concluded that the offenders may be from or are associated in part with the Milwaukee area. Two persons of interest and a suspect vehicle (images attached) have been identified on surveillance images conducting the transactions.
Anyone with information leading to an arrest concerning this case may be eligible to receive a cash reward.
