Manitowoc Lincoln split a pair of Fall sports contests with Bay Port yesterday & last night. The Ships Girls Tennis team blanked the Pirates 7-0 to improve to 2-0 in the FRCC, 8-3 overall. Earning singles victories were Kendra Peterson, Caroline Ramminger, Delaney Brockman and Emma Klatt. Winning doubles tandems were: Elsie Steimle & Isabella Wergin, Brenna Braun & McKenna Pleuss and Clara Powalisz & Josie Decker.
Bay Port got the better of the Ships in Boys Soccer by a score of 9-1. The host Pirates led 8-0 at the half. Izaak Schrauth had an unassisted goal in the 2nd half for Lincoln in its’ conference opener. Caleb Maes had 11 saves in a losing effort.
