Three months after the serious traffic accident which killed his wife and daughter — and left coach Howard Moore in a rehab facility — the Wisconsin Badgers are still dealing with the loss. Moore had hoped to return to the team this month, but he went into cardiac arrest after returning home to recover. Coach Greg Gard says he couldn’t even enter his assistant’s office for weeks after the wreck. The program’s all-time leading scorer, Alando Tucker, has joined the staff during Moore’s absence. No return date for the popular Moore has ever been suggested as he tries to bounce back.
