Deputies with the Dane County Sheriff’s Office say it was obvious a dead body discovered last weekend had been lying near some railroad tracks for an extended period of time. Authorities reveal the dead person was a male, but it isn’t known if he was an adult or a child. The call reporting the body came in Saturday shortly before noon. The Dane County Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy in an effort to come up with an identity.
