Fire Causes Significant Damage to a Kaukauna Industry

Kaukauna firefighters responded early this morning to a large fire at Roloff Manufacturing.  Fire Department personnel from Kaukauna said they found significant flames and smoke coming from inside the building when they pulled up to the scene just after 12:30 am. Assistant Chief Chad Gerrits said it took about 5 hours to extinguish the fire after flames spread to multiple levels of the roof.  No one was hurt and damage to Roloff manufacturing is estimated at $100,000. Gerrits stated the fire likely started in boards that were warm from the manufacturing process.  Little Chute firefighters assisted at the scene.
