
Kyle Schwarber’s sixth-inning grand slam was the big blast as the Chicago Cubs beat Milwaukee Thursday night 10-5. The loss dropped the Brewers five games behind the Cubs for the second wild-card spot. The score was tied 4-4 coming into the sixth. Milwaukee got home runs from Hernan Perez, Yasmani Grandal and Cory Spangenberg. Reliever Matt Albers took the loss. Zach Davies will try to even the series when he starts tonight’s (Friday’s) game against Chicago. First pitch is scheduled for 7:10 PM at Miller Park.
