One of the higher-priced properties in Manitowoc County has been sold. Local agent Bob Nelson of Coldwell Bankers-The Real Estate Group says that the 5-bedroom home on 8-plus acres of land is located on Lakeshore Road in Newton.
Records from the County Register of Deeds Office show that the property, assessed at over $2-million, was sold for $923,500. According to Nelson, the buyer owns a Fond du Lac company which produces scaffolding for sporting events across the country.
The land with a 400 foot Lake Michigan frontage, includes a ten-thousand square foot house and numerous indoor and outdoor amenities such as an in-ground pool, hot tub, shooting/archery range, tennis court, home theater, training room and indoor full size basketball court.
The property was first listed with Coldwell Banker on May 22nd & the closing date was August 27th. Nelson gave credit to the world-wide marketing impact of the Real Estate Group for helping to make the sale a reality.
