The American Lung Association is giving its full support to legislation which would raise the age to buy tobacco and vaping products to 21 in Wisconsin. The bill has bipartisan support. Research shows people are much less likely to start smoking if they haven’t by the time they are 21. The current age limit is 18. Lawmakers are looking at making the change while increasing reports are filed about young people suffering lung damage after using vaping products — especially those containing T-H-C.
