Packers Put 2nd Player On Injured Reserve: TE Jace Sternberger

The Packers have put rookie tight end Jace Sternberger on injured reserve after he had to be carted off the field during the preseason game against Kansas City.  Sternberger had also suffered a concussion during a joint practice with the Texans in early August.  He will be eligible to return for the game against the Los Angeles Chargers in week-9.  Wide receiver Allen Lazard has been promoted from the practice squad to take his place.  Lazard is expected to play a few snaps and he will possibly be a gunner on kick and punt coverages.
