Police in Kaukauna were involved in a chase early this morning, which ended in the suspect being shot. The incident began at around 1:15 this morning, when Fox Metro Police began to chase a vehicle near Appleton. The chase came to an end when the vehicle crashed at the intersection of County Highway OO and State Highway 55 in Kaukauna. The suspect was shot while officers were attempting to take the man into custody. He was taken to a local hospital to be treated for his injuries. Neither the suspect, nor the Officer who discharged his weapon have been identified at this time.
