Former Social Studies Teacher Sentenced For Touching Student Sexually

A former social studies teacher in the Beloit School District admits having sexual contact with a 15-year-old student multiple times in June of 2017.  Tyler J. Edge was given a 90-day jail sentence last week in Rock County Circuit Court for sexually touching the victim.  He had pleaded guilty to causing mental harm to a child and the repeated sexual assault of the same child.  Edge will be on probation for four years after he completes the sentence.
