The Wisconsin attorney general is said to be reviewing a confidentiality agreement signed by a lawyer representing Republican lawmakers. Democrat Josh Kaul and G-O-P members of the Legislature’s Joint Finance Committee have been arguing over lawsuit settlements. A bill was passed during last December’s lame-duck special session which requires legislative approval of those agreements. Today (Friday) is the deadline to settle one of about 15 lawsuits which have millions of dollars involved.
