The Green Bay Packers won their final preseason game with a fourth-quarter touchdown against Kansas City Thursday night. The 27-20 victory means Green Bay was two-and-two in exhibitions. There was no clear winner of the battle for backup quarterback behind starter Aaron Rodgers, but head coach Matt LaFleur named Lane Taylor to the left guard starting position. The Chiefs controlled much of the first period, but Green Bay exploded for 20 points before halftime. The Packers will open the 2019 season with a September 5th game at Chicago against the arch-rival Bears.
