The Sheboygan City Government is preparing for a big move to the newly built City Hall. The public will be able to get a look at the new facility early next week, as an open house is planned for Tuesday, September 3. Also on that day, there will be a grand opening ceremony, which the public is also welcome to attend, from 2:00-6:00 PM. The next day is when the move will actually begin, but it won’t be an overnight process. It is expected to take until September 20th, because they will be moving one department at a time. This should help alleviate the chaos and additional stress. The Common Council will be holding their first meeting in the new building on September 3rd.
