Running back Aaron Jones could put up some big numbers if he becomes a workhorse for the Green Bay Packers. Jones and his Packer team wrap up the fourth and final preseason game at home against Kansas City tonight (Thursday). He’s averaged five-and-a-half yards-a-carry in his first two seasons. With 250 carries Jones would gain one-thousand-375 yards at that pace — and that would have been second-best in the league last year. The Packers have struggled to find a back to take that kind of load since Eddie Lacy flamed out.
