The man shot by a La Crosse police officer is now being held without bond on two charges. Allen C. Kruk was wounded during a domestic incident August 3rd. Officer Dustin Darling shot him after Kruk pulled a gun during a confrontation. Kruk has been in the hospital for the last three-and-a-half weeks. He is charged with second-degree recklessly endangering safety and theft of a firearm.
