A Green Bay man was arrested for his 8th OWI charge earlier this week. According to a criminal complaint, police were dispatched to a home in Ellortina Circle on a report of a disturbance at that location. While en route to the home, they learned that one of the residents, 43-year-old Jason John Coppens had his driver’s license revoked, and had an active warrant. The officers watched Coppens as he drove away from the residence, and pulled him over immediately. A breathalyzer test showed Coppens had a blood alcohol content of 0.150, which is well above the legal limit of 0.02. Coppens was then taken into police custody for his 8th OWI offense since 1994.
