Green Bay general manager Brian Gutekunst says former second-round draft pick Josh Jones just “wasn’t a good fit” for the Packers. Jones had requested a trade or release before training camp started. He got his wish last weekend and is currently a free agent. An illness had made it hard for him to solidify his spot on the Packers roster while missing practice time. Second-year undrafted safety Raven Greene had passed him on the depth chart.
