Governor Tony Evers along with Senator Dave Hansen and Representative Staush Gruszynski, both of Green Bay, announced that the state has invested $2 million to aid in the construction of the Experience Green Bay Visitor Center. Jeff Knaus, Business Manager of Plumbers & Steamfitters UA Local 400 reacted to the news with delight, saying “This state investment provides the funding needed to make the Experience Green Bay Visitor Center a reality. In addition to the jobs that will be created through the center’s construction, this project will also help promote tourism and future development in the Green Bay area.” He went on to thank the law makers for the bi-partisan support in helping make the Visitors Center a reality.
