A former Wisconsin high school basketball star has emerged as a contender for Rookie of the Year in the W-N-B-A. Arike Ogunbowale led Milwaukee Divine Savior Holy Angels to a state title, then was instrumental in the national title for Notre Dame. Now, the 22-year-old athlete is averaging more than 17 points and two-point-seven assists-a-game for the Dallas Wings. With less than two weeks to go in the season, her only competition for the rookie honor is Napheesa Collier of the Minnesota Lynx.
